LG finally confirmed its first ever Android Wear smartwatch — G Watch. It comes with a 1.65-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a 280 x 280 resolution behind Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The G Watch features a Qualcomm Snapdragon™ 400 processor chipset with 4GB of internal storage and 512MB of RAM.

The LG G Watch’s sleek, all-metal design houses a 400mAh battery that can last up to 36 hours in Always-on state, which is fairly good for an all-day wearable device.

It is both water and dust resistant and complies with the IP67 specification, so it is dust tight and can withstand being submerged to up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes. Its Always-on display allows you to check the time and view new information at a glance.

The LG G Watch can be used with any smartphone running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and above, and it comes in Black Titan and White Gold.

G Watch will be officially released in the US on July 7, 2014, but is available for pre-order on the Google Play Store.
